What is a DreamPod and how does it work?

Your DreamPod is your personal virtual coach — on wheels. This smart tablet station moves with you, connecting you to over 1,000 Reformer, mat Pilates, and yoga workouts in our on-demand library.

 

Prefer to mix it up? In the functional training area, you can use the DreamPod’s to stream YouTube, log into your favourite fitness apps, or follow a guided functional workout using our gym-style equipment — the options are endless for how you move.

 

And if your little one’s tagging along, we’ve got you covered — If there is a spare DreamPod in the studio you can stream TVNZ OnDemand or play preloaded games to keep them happily occupied while you train.

Do I need experience to use the DreamPods or train on my own?

Not at all. Each on-demand session is thoughtfully designed for women of all levels — from absolute beginners to experienced movers, including postpartum and returning-to-exercise clients. Every workout includes step-by-step guidance, visual demonstrations, and adjustable options so you can move safely and confidently at your own pace.

And if you’d like a little extra support getting started, we’ve got you. Upon request, one of our team can join you for your first few sessions to guide you through using the equipment and help you feel completely comfortable on your own. We’re here to make fitness work for you — if that sounds like something you need, reach out to our team so we can book your supported sessions and help you get started with confidence.

What’s the difference between classes and self-led sessions?

Our Saturday functional training classes are coach-led in real time — perfect if you love structure, community, and a little accountability. You’ll train alongside other women, be guided through your session, and leave feeling strong and supported.

 

Our self-led DreamPods are all about freedom and flexibility. You can train anytime that suits you, following along with our on-demand virtual coach and workout library — whether it’s Reformer, mat Pilates, yoga, or functional training.

We also offer Supported Sessions, where one of our team can join you to help you stay motivated, check your form, and make sure you’re progressing safely. These are great to book every few weeks as a check-in to keep you on track. Because at The Reform Her Room, you get to choose how you move — with structure, independence, or a balance of both.

How do I book or access the space?

Everything runs through our Momence app — it’s your all-in-one place to book sessions, manage memberships, and access your schedule.

 

Simply log in, choose your class time or self-led session, and book instantly. Once confirmed, you’ll receive all the access details and instructions for your visit.

It’s quick, seamless, and gives you full control over your schedule — no back-and-forth messages needed.

Can I combine Reformer on-demand and functional sessions?

Absolutely — and that’s where the magic happens. Many of our members love combining Reformer or Matt Pilates and functional training to build a balance of strength, stability, and mobility, then adding on-demand yoga or stretch sessions for recovery and restoration.

 

Your membership gives you full flexibility to mix and match — so you can move in a way that feels right for your body each week.

I’m postpartum / rebuilding — is this safe for me?

Absolutely. The Reform Her Room was created with women’s health, recovery, and safe progression at its core. Every session from Reformer to functional training includes modifications and guided options suitable for postpartum clients, beginners, or anyone returning after time away from exercise.

 

You’ll always be supported with clear instruction, visual demos, and scalable progressions so you can move safely and confidently at your own pace.

 

If you’re newly postpartum or feeling unsure where to start, we recommend booking a Supported Session. One of our coaches can guide you through your setup, check your form, and help you build a routine that supports your recovery and goals.

 

Our aim is simple to help you rebuild strength, restore confidence, and reconnect with movement that feels good. You don’t have to rush or do it alone we’re here with you every step of the way.
